1. God in Heaven is the head Father of our family. We are His
children and we humbly and freely submit ourselves to Him.
2. We openly welcome the presence of God in our home. We know
God is real and we know His presence, though in Spirit, is as real
as our presence, though we be in flesh.
3. Inasmuch as God is God, His Name is, and shall always be,
holy in our hearts and in our home.
4. We know that God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Inasmuch as God is King of Kings and, inasmuch as He owns
the kingdom, we will humbly and freely conduct and administer our
home according to the rules of God's kingdom. We will do all we
know to do to bring other people and other households into God's
kingdom.
5. We know that God makes sure that His will is done in Heaven.
We want to do everything we can to make sure His Word is obeyed
in our house. We also want to do all we can to see to it that His
will is obeyed throughout the Earth.
6. We want the Lord to provide for our daily needs. We believe
He will do so.
7. We want the Lord to forgive us for the sins we commit.
We believe we will be forgiven of our sins as we forgive other
people for the wrongs things they do to us.
8. We believe that God wants us to walk in holiness and that
He wants to keep us from being enticed by evil. We believe God
wants to keep us from all evil. Therefore, we will do all we can
to keep ourselves from being enticed to do evil.
9. In our household, we fully and freely acknowledge that God
owns everything. Further, we acknowledge that God has all power.
And finally, we fully acknowledge that all the glory forever belongs
to God. We will not steal that which belongs to God.
10. To all of the above, this household says, AMEN.
