ProLifers: Be Of Good Cheer
Christian ProLifers:
Be Of Good Cheer

Dearly Beloveds,

Some of you will be distressed by the news of the approval of the "abortion pill".  It certainly is not "good news".  However, like many of you, I have fought long and hard to keep the world a pleasant place in which to be conceived, to develop and be born.  Abortion is, to me, an unconscionable act.  However, I say to you, "let not your heart be troubled."  Like many of you, I will continue to work to protect innocent, helpless, unborn life.  The Spirit of God constraineth me to do so.  I will do so in peace.  Here is what I mean:  I have come to understand that the unGodly will always find a way to kill themselves, their children and other people.  As long as sin is in the world, that spirit will seek to exercise itself.  Yes, we must continue to proclaim righteousness and stand for what God stands for.  But, we must not allow the sins of others to diminish the quality of the blessings God has given us.  We must remember that Jesus said,

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33) The Holy Bible
